Assessments

Intake Assessment and Report Writing

This is the first step before your child receives therapy. We ask parents questions about their child and observe the child’s current skills. The intake recommendation forms the basis for the child’s service plan and therapy duration.

Behavioral Assessment

We use standardized tests to tailor appropriate therapy for people of determination to reach their full potential. Our Behavior Assessment assesses the skill levels to create individualized intervention plans.

Our assessment covers:

  • Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP) tracks progress and guides curriculum, while the Individualized Education Program (IEP) assesses and guides the development of verbal and social skills, identifying barriers
  • Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills – Revised (ABLLS-R) evaluates strengths and weaknesses across various skills, guiding the development of basic language and learning skills.
  • Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA) creates behavior intervention plans to address causes of specific behaviors, aiming to reduce problematic behaviors and improve adaptive behaviors.

Psychological Assessment

Psychological testing identifies autism presence and severity, we offer valuable information for effective intervention plans. We assess delays in development, behavioral challenges and learning that may affect school performance. Counseling services focus on understanding the child’s emotional and social development.
