Over the past years, our center has been accredited by Dubai Healthcare City Authority – Regulatory (DHCR) due to demonstrating high levels of compliance with the Dubai Outpatient Clinic Quality Standards and meeting a set of internationally recognized quality standards as per the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua) to ensure delivery of safe and high-quality client-centered care through a process of continuous quality improvement. The Doris Duan-Young Autism Center received DHCR’s accreditation in 2017, 2018 and 2019.

Dubai Healthcare City Authority Regulatory (DHCR) is the regulatory body of Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) free zone. DHCR’s outpatient clinic quality standards are accredited by the International Society for Quality in Healthcare (ISQua), a global leader in assessing the standards in healthcare safety and quality.

By adhering to DHA’s guidelines, we ensure the safety of our clients, maintain high levels of client satisfaction as well as aim to achieve excellence in all aspects of our operations.

1st Place in Rehabilitation Center Category

The DDY Autism Center was recognized for a consecutive year at the DHCA Excellence Awards 2020 cycle. We won the Outpatient Clinics Award in the Rehabilitation Center Category. This award recognizes outpatient clinics that have demonstrated continuous high levels of compliance with DHCR’s Dubai Outpatient Clinic Quality Standards, accredited by ISQua from 2017 to 2019. The awards were presented at our center in the presence of the DHCA Leadership Team who toured our facilities during the visit.

Winner of the Healthcare Innovation Award

2nd Place in Outpatient Clinics Category

The DDY Autism Center was recognized for our purpose-built Observation Room, giving parents remote visual access during therapy sessions. We won the second place for Healthcare Innovation in the Outpatient Clinic Category that recognizes innovative practices and projects designed to improve safety in any aspect of patient care, education, and technology. We received the award at a ceremony in the presence of His Excellency Humaid Al Qutami, Director-General of Dubai Health Authority and the DHCA Leadership Team. The 2019 cycle comprised 30 awards to showcase the remarkable contributions in advancing healthcare delivery in the UAE by individuals and organizations within the DHCC Community.

To be able to successfully support and contribute towards building an inclusive society, we seek partnerships with government and private entities. While our multidisciplinary care for individuals living with autism brings together clinical, therapeutic, and social disciplines, a few of our programs and initiatives including patient referrals, inclusion, internships, and community trainings are built on the generosity and spirit of organizations in the UAE and beyond. We have collaborated with UAE authorities, regional government entities, insurance companies, and medical centers to help increase access to care and support.
